These programs provide the experience of scuba diving
under close supervision but are not certification programs
(although, if certain criteria are met, they may be applied
toward the initial certification requirements). Minimum
age is 10 years old unless otherwise noted.
DISCOVER
SCUBA DIVING (Pool only) Try scuba diving in our
pool under close supervision to get a sample of why diving
is so enjoyable. Experience the thrill of seeing and breathing
underwater. May be counted as one of the 5 required confined
water dives in the initial certification. Includes all
equipment, academics, and a one-hour pool session. 8:00
AM check-in. Course fee: $75 + tax
DISCOVER
SCUBA DIVING (Pool and open water " RESORT COURSE" ) - Scuba dive in one day. Experience firsthand what certified
divers are enjoying underwater. This full day course consists
of a short classroom session, pool instruction, then you
join our dive trip to the reef where you dive and explore
the underwater world with your instructor. May be counted
as one of the 5 required confined water dives and one
of the 4 required open water dives in the initial certification.
Includes all equipment, academics, pool session, and 2
reef dives. 7:30 AM check-in. Course fee: $199 + tax
BUBBLEMAKER - This is a special program for children ages 8-9 years
old. The pool session enables the child to get the experience
of using the scuba equipment. We start with a short classroom
session and then pool training, followed by a closely
supervised “fun” period in the pool. Includes all equipment,
academics, and a one-hour pool session. Minimum age is
8 years old. 9:00 AM check-in. Course fee: $75 + tax
